The Brief
Scania needed a graphic identity and assorted items for an event that we were producing for them on the occasion of the launch of their new vehicle range in the UK. Top of the list was the invitation which was to include a DVD teaser featuring Richard Hammond.
The theme on the invitation would have to carry through to various items of print material including brochures, document wallets, stationery, passes, menus and wall graphics. The theme also extended to PowerPoint, video and DVD menus.
The Response
To reflect the of trucks’ engineering pedigree, we created a multi-material invitation package. This included a DVD came in an engraved aluminium case mounted in high density foam within a card wallet. Also included was the invitation booklet and RSVP. The whole package was posted in a silver mirror-finish envelope.
We oversaw complete production of the invitation package. We arranged for the duplication and printing of the DVD's, the manufacturing and engraving of the cases, the routing of the foam and the printing of the wallet and inserts. We undertook complete assembly and fulfillment of the package.
