The Job

The Brief

Scania OnBoard is a computerised vehicle and job management system for trucks.

In support of a press campaign for the OnBoard System, our client wanted to send promotional gifts to key potential customers. The press ads emphasise the importance of prompt deliveries with respect to fresh produce.

On receipt of the gifts the recipient would be called by Scania sales staff.

The Response

Our solution to the brief was a box of fresh fruit. One was delivered personally to each of the exclusive list of potential customers.

We designed a Scania-branded box side similar in style to a typical fruit box and themed address cards with the press ad on the reverse.

We sourced wooden fruit boxes to which we applied the graphics. We also sourced the fruit and packed it on a bed of Scania red shredded paper.

The items were delivered by drivers dressed appropriately in Scania liveried clothing.
